Ghanaian importers can now pay for Chinese goods in cedis without using dollars

Stanbic Bank Ghana is piloting a cedi-yuan payment arrangement allowing importers to pay for Chinese goods directly from cedi accounts, as the Bank of Ghana seeks to reduce dollar reliance in bilateral trade.
